Why You Need Market Samurai

If you asked me which SEO research tools I’d recommend you’d probably always get the same answers – my old standard line “it’s between Raven Tools, SEOmoz Pro, and Market Samurai.   But when you really start to peel back the onion I guess my response doesn’t do Market Samurai much justice.

Before I learned about Market Samurai, my tool of choice was Google’s Adwords tool.  However, the deeper I got into SEO the more it became apparent that the AdWords tool by itself may be great just isn’t enough for hardcore keyword ranking.  Not wanting to cough up the $149 I delayed my decision to get Market Samurai for nearly 6 months.

Finally, it got to a point where I couldn’t take it no more so I gave in and got Market Samurai.  Boy was I amazed at all the things that this one tool allowed you to do…

• Find  the top competitors for your keywords
• Rank your entire domain for keyword rankings or just check the rank a specific url
• Serious keyword research – that pulls much of its data from the Majetic SEO research tool (probably the most robust and authoritative link and seo research tool that I’m aware of…)
• Plus a content finder!

Put it like this…I even know online marketing agencies who use it!   And the only reason I ever decided to head over to paid subscription services like SEOMoz Pro was because I was looking for more insights on backlinks, on page optimization and stuff.  But outside of that Market Samurai has the functionality to power your SEO research – completely.

Oh and in case I forgot to mention it you only pay for Market Samurai once, but get lifetime access to their frequent and often game changing updates.

The only thing they don’t have is ppc tool that helps you manage AdWords campaigns but give Noble and Co time and I’m sure they’ll address that…But outside of the ppc piece when you combine all their pluses Market Samurai the undisputed champ of one off SEO tools-in my book!

Why does Market Samurai rock? 

1. The out the box ease of use
2. plus the fact that it pulls much of its data from the Majestic SEO API (one of the best, if not the best, sources of SEO/Link data online)
3. The keyword ranking tool is super insightful
4. Love how the keyword research function ties into ur Google account and makes it so easy to sort keywords by search volume, competition, and other factors
5. Even their non-seo modules, like the content finder, make sense
6. Especially like how they’re always doing new updates!
