How to Develop New Blog Post Topics – Quickly
The number one question that I get when talking to new or struggling networkers about online marketing is “how do I choose a blog post topic for my blog?
So make no mistake about it to the blog newbie coming up with new blog post ideas is no joke. And think about it, if your blog displays opt-in forms in the blog posts or in a prominent place elsewhere on the blog, then you should end up generating leads for your primary business each time you publish a new post.
So this coming up with new blog post ideas is critical to networkers or anyone goes online to generate leads.
Coming up with new blog post topics for my blog-a quick rundown:
RSS Feeds
Look for blogs that are somewhat similar to mine and subscribe to their RSS. I use a feed reader (Google Feed Reader) to do this. If you’re not familiar with RSS feeds or with feed readers-I’d encourage you to check out this really simple explanation.
Google Alerts
Subscribe to Google alerts for topics like MLM, network marketing, affiliate marketing, and etc. This means that every time Google notices a site or web page mentioning one of these topics I receive an email directing me to that page or website.
Article Websites
I also turn to article websites such as Ezine articles and scan their most popular articles in the topic that I’m considering blogging about. It’s really simple to do.
Just head over to Ezine Articles or any major article website and do a search for the general topic that you’re thinking of writing about.Then you look at the top 3 to 5 articles in the search and make note of what you did or didn’t like about the article.Another cool thing that you can do is look at the part of the page (on Ezine Articles its at the bottom-beneath the article) that shows most popular articles on the same topic.
Then check those out and see what they did that caused their article to be well received and see if what they did could help you…
Get inspired
Occasionally , something will happen during the course of the day that will make me say to myself, ” that’s a great blog posting idea, I have got to write about that.”Or maybe you could be doing nothing and all of a sudden a brilliant idea pops up.The key to making this technique work is writing your idea down as soon as it surfaces-otherwise, you’ll just forget.
Private Label Rights (PLR) content
If you’re not familiar with private label rights I’d encourage you to make yourself familiar-yesterday. Seriously.This is probably my favorite technique out of everything I’ve just mentioned because this method can help you plan enough blog post topics and content for an entire month or more.
The way I do it is that purchase packages of PLR content for between $.25 to two dollars per article and then I’ll go through the packs, pick the articles that I like, and either rewrite them or use them as a general guideline to create new stuff.
Once I’ve got one or more blog post ideas I add them to a daily schedule that I use to manage my new blog post schedule.

So as you can see if you’e running low on blog post topics or if you’re having a tough time coming up with blog post ideas it’s not really as hard as it seems to come up with great blog post topics.
One final word of advice is that above any of these tips blog about topics that you feel passionate about. If you do this you’ll have no shortage of topics to blog about.
