The answer is that it most certainly can.   The reason that article marketing is so powerful is similar to the reason that pay per click is a potent attraction marketing weapon.  Articles that are published on article directory sites act as bait to potential prospects who are turning to the search engines for help.

Because these article directory websites rank so well, across a wide array of search terms, publihing a well written article onto an article site gives you a much better shot at making it onto the first page of Google than you would have had if you’d published the article on your blog or somewhere.

Additionally, when you write great content and distibute it through the article websites the exposure that you get has the potential to be an ongoing avalanche.  The reason is that unlike PPC the articles that you publish onto article sites remain online indefinitely.

Furthermore, since article sites allow other website owners to republish the articles for free, as long as they leave your bio and links in tact, your article has the potential to continue geting you new backlinks.

Of course, in order for you to get backlinks, you’ve got to create a bio box also reffered to as a resource box and add it to your articles.  Your resource box is the place where your call to action goes and your call to action should include a link to your website.

The trick to getting your articles to rank well in the search engines is to make sure that you’re using relevant keywords and to go after one to two keyword phrases that closely relate to your mlm offer.

So when you publish well written keyword rich articles to the online directories online publishers who need content to place on their websites could take notice and decide to re-publish or syndicate your article on their own websites and this is how article marketing is able to literally explode your backlinks.

But one thing that you should remember is that in order for someone to want to take you up on your call to action by clicking your link and visiting your website you’ve got to make sure that your article is helpful and valuable to them.  If you do this both you and your primary mlm business stand to benefit majorly.
